4 out of 5 weekly challenge WEEK 2 - March 14

If you want to join in this challenge please sign in no later than midnight eastern time on Monday, March 14th. After that feel free to join us next week.

This is a 4 out of 5 challenge. Meet 4 of the following goals every day to stay in the challenge.

Goal 1 - Log all food
Goal 2 - drink at least 8 cups of water
Goal 3 - work out for 30 minutes per day
Goal 4 - stay under your calories
Goal 5 - do something for yourself (read a magazine article, a book, work on a hobby, etc....)

Each day you'll log in and tell us how many goals you've reached for the day. If you don't reach 4 goals you'll be out for the week (but don't worry you can join us again the following week). If you do not reach 4 of the 5 goals and have not earned a grace day just post that you're out and then please refrain from posting until the new challenge is posted the following week.

If you hit all 5 goals three days in a row you can earn a grace day. Grace days can be used at any time for any reason, you don't need to justify it - simply state that you're using a grace day. Grace days can be banked from week to week but you have to earn them within one week. That means you can't count Saturday, Sunday, Monday as your three days in a row because each challenge will begin on Monday.

If you drop out of the challenge with unused grace days you forfeit those grace days.

I will set up a new post each Sunday for the following week's challenge.

    Monday

    Goal 1 - Log all food - Done
    Goal 2 - drink at least 8 cups of water - Done
    Goal 3 - work out for 30 minutes per day - Done 90 minutes today
    Goal 4 - stay under your calories - Done
    Goal 5 - do something for yourself - Done relaxed in front of the TV tonight.

    walked for almost 2 hours

    not enough water :cry:
    walked my dogs in the fresh air - did wonders for my mood!

    Hmmm.....looks like a much smaller group this week.

    Under calories - hey, 6 under counts as under!
    Watched Californication with DH. About to go to bed early and read.

    I gotta say this challenge is THE BEST thing for my evening munchies. Most times, I can talk myself out of the salty stuff I am craving if I remind myself that I REALLY want to get a 5/5 each day. The others are gimmes for me, but staying under calories is my most challenging thing. Thanks for being my accountability team!!

    So I'm all proud of myself, close out my food diary and post on here. The DH comes over and says, "You forgot your orange." Is it completely crazy that I logged the orange and then hit the exercise bike for 6 minutes to cancel out the calories. There's some thing wrong with me..... :wink:

    Exercised 50 minutes
    Under calories - hey, 6 under counts as under!
    Watched Californication with DH. About to go to bed early and read.

    Nope, you are dedicated and motivated. The hardest part of this challenge for me is drinking the water but you guys motivate me to at least try. I still struggle with it but knowing I'm not doing it alone does make it easier.

    but if you don't mind i'll tag along this week just to keep myself motivated.
    monday was a total blow off.

    over my h2o requirement

    i got a nap and read from "the changeling":happy:

Look for next week's challenge to be posted on Sunday. Feel free to lurk and keep going on your own throughout the rest of the week though.
