I spent about a month trying to stick to 1200 net cals a day -- it got to the point where I *dreaded* logging in because no matter how much extra I exercised, I would always eat it back and then some... despite eating mostly brown rice and veggies and chicken breast. I was tired and cranky and I couldn't focus enough to get through my class readings.
Then I switched my goal to lose one pound a week and WHAT A DIFFERENCE 400 calories makes! I feel hyper, almost, it's so good! New account to try and banish those old feelings of dread
. It feels like food was a long-lost friend that I just wasn't investing enough time in.
