What a difference 15lbs makes! (Pics)

A few years of sitting around and eating what ever I wanted as much as I wanted, led me to a highest weight of 182lbs in December of 2009 (I don't have any pictures from then). Last year I tried a low carb diet to lose the weight quick, I lost 12 lbs. But when I started eating carbs again I gained back 8lbs.
When I saw pictures from my birthday in December of 2010 it really hit me. I needed to do something! I was not happy with my appearance (I had been a skinny kid) and I did not want to look this way at my 5 year reunion or my wedding! A friend pointed me toward MFP in January 2011 and I have never looked back.
I have hit a mini plateau, due to a few cheat days and a weekend away, so I was looking at these pictures to continue my motivation. I have been so inspired by other people's photos I thought I would pay it forward. I am about half way through my journey and I already love what I see. I hope you see it too!
(Hope I do these pictures right)
First the bad
September 2009 - 180lbs
October 2009 - 180lbs
December 2010 - 178lbs
Now for the good! 15lbs Down!
March 2011 - 162.5lbs
Thanks to the MFP community for inspiring me to work hard. Thank you to my MFP friends, other friends, and family! I can wait to see the results the future brings!
Keep up the good work! We can do this!

You know maybe I should take pics of myself so I can see the progress. Just looking in the mirror I see nothing but if I had something to compare it to then maybe I could see how far I have come.0

I love this post, too, because our goals are pretty much the same - my starting weight was 178 lbs, and I'm trying to get down to the 135-140 lb range. You're inspirational.0 -

Thank you for posting! I really needed that. I have lost 15.8 lbs. as of this morning, and haven't really been able to tell too much in the mirror. My clothes are fitting differently, but I can't SEE it. Was starting to get a bit discouraged. You really helped bring it into perspective. Thanks!0

I'm sensitive about my upper arms (Mine are like melting bags of sand. LOL!), so I was instantly drawn to look at your arms in all the photos. WOW! What a difference in your arms and just about every other direction! 15 pounds obviously changes a LOT on a person!
