Hey folks,
I'm hoping even one person can offer a lil' bit of a boost. I'm having a really rough week in terms of eating well and fitting exercise in, and now the weekend is almost upon us and I have a wedding to attend. BLAH!
The last thing I want to do is go because I feel absolutely awful. None of my clothes fit me the way I want them to right now, and it's just really frustrating. I know I have to persevere, stay on track, and know that I WILL get to where I want to be, but I'm finding it VERY difficult right now.
Because I refuse to go out and purchase new clothes, I made a dress and belt to wear (I'm lucky enough to be able to sew), but even this outfit makes me feel like a rhinoceros. Help! I know it's silly, and I know I should toughen up, but I'm just feeling really low and want to go bury my head in a box of cookies. I'm not going to - but if any of y'all would be kind enough to throw some encouragement my way, and tell me that I don't look like a rhinoceros (maybe just a baby one?), I'd be really appreciative! Here's the dress in question:
And since my hair and makeup weren't done and I'd just spent the last four hours hunched over a sewing machine - no one needs to see the sheer frustration on my face! Haha Hope everyone has a fantastic St. Patrick's Day and a healthy weekend!

Go and enjoy yourself, you look better than I would. I can't sew for *kitten*, so I'd be the guy in the corner wearing a bin bag0

I think the dress is very nice and you don't look like a rhino or any other animal from Africa! Take a deep breath and you are doing great0

You look fantastic in that dress, and aren't you clever to be able to make it? I'm impressed!
Accessorize it with a big smile, and enjoy the wedding!0 -
You look great in the dress! Go and have fun! By the way you are very talented. I can't even sew on a button!0

You don't look anything close to a rhino! Not even a baby one! The dress is really cute to! I would say if you still feel un-comfortable and you want a little red in the dress, maybe close the back up just a little higher with some of the red fabric and buy one of what my sister and I call "the skinny maker" the high waist gusseted girdle thing, I get mine at Sears and the make me feel a lot better when I have to dress up for an occasion that I don't feel my best for. And as far as the cookies, I have an even better treat..... Walmart has these, I don't know if you are near one but they are a mouse pudding, sugar free, 60 calories and come in dark, and milk chocolate or caramel......don't stick your head in a box of cookies! You look great and I guarantee you'll look amazing for the wedding!0

Oh my goodness. You definitely do not look like a rhino! The dress is gorgeous! I would say you are your own worst critic (I know I am). You may feel bad inside if you feel you have made some bad food choices but you look great. Go to the wedding and hold your head high, not only because you are working hard to reach your goals but also because the dress is gorgeous. Have fun!0

Your dress looks great! I'm so jealous of your sewing skills!
You sound like you're hitting a bit of a rough patch, so I thought I'd share a link I just recently learned about.

You can do this!
Now, go and have a fantastic time at the wedding!0 -
You look great and if you miss the wedding your going to feel worse. Remember when you look in the mirror you are your worse critic everyone has the same thing. They see every little flaw that no one else can see. Your dress is great your body is great and everything will be brighter in the morning.
