As someone who worked as a QA person who created food product labels, I am always baffled at the Nutritional label on the Kellog's Nuti-Grain Whole Wheat Waffles.

http://www2.kelloggs.com/ServeImage.aspx?BID=81069&MD5=d255f81687a059f11fd9a5bb03f4d65a&w=600

1 waffle= 80 calories
2 waffles= 170 calories

What?! 80+80= 160

Any other labels you have come across where the math doesn't add up right

They do this because legally they can say something is 80 calories even if it's actually 83 calories. When you add them up for a serving they become 83 + 83 = 166 which they then can round to the nearest ten which is 170. It's weird but that's how they make it seem like you're eating less. Splenda packets are actually 4 calories a piece, but since it's <5 they can say 0. It's sad!

hmmm at the company I worked for, a chocolate factory, we were not allowed to round up to the nearest 10th. We could only round up to the next calorie- So if is was 81.5 calories, we could put 82, but no way could we put that one at 80 calories and if you had two it would equal 170calories.
