Hi,

I've been struggling for a while now with not being able to lose any weight but doing lots of exercise and often not eating much more than 1000 calories a day. I have been very frustrated for a long time now. Recently a friend recommended I take a look at this website and whilst exploring I came across the post by David Greenwait about only eating 700 calories a day and why this was preventing weight loss. For the first time I now understand how eating so little has been detrimental to weight loss and will be embarking on eating my recommended intake of calories. I know that in the short term this will cause me to put on weight but I'm hopeful I'll make it through the 4 weeks or so untill I can start losing weight once my metabolism is sorted out.
