Sick as a dog today. Don't want to eat a thing...actually a bit afraid to. Had this bug for about 24 hours earlier in the week, then back again today. Any suggestions for gentle foods that I may have around the house? Do NOT want to go out of the house.

Anything you can hold down - crackers, water, gatorade or powerade. The diet and MFP goals will be there when you get better - if you have a set back, take a step back!

Thanks everyone....never heard of rice, I'll make a pot. I have cream of chicken soup that I use sometimes for recipes. Think that's too heavy? Don't even like the thought of the water, though.

i am sick to my stomach alot because of my illness. i found that jello, popcicles, gingerale, flat sprite (the bubbles aggrivate my stomach more), apple juice, applesauce, gatoraid, pedilyte, even baby food ( i like the fruit kind), broth not soup because sometimes vegetables are hard to digest, if you have chicken or beef bullion or bullion cubes even that you can make a broth out of will give you some nutrition. i know you don't feel like eating but try to eat anyway. you need your strength.

I made the pot of rice. And I do have bouillon cubes...great idea. Make a little rice soup. Gives me something to do. Move around a little bit. Sure it'll help.
