Will be trying these! Do you know if it can be made with raisins and if so, can you use raisins instead of the sugar?

Just a note for those of you (like me) who suck at following directions. It really is important to follow the sizing to get that many cookies out of this... I doubled the ingredients, thinking I'd end up double the amount, but it only made 20!!! The original recipe is supposed to make 25-27, so WTF??

The directions said to drop by the teaspoon and flatten slightly, instead I formed walnut sized balls of dough and flattened slightly. They cooked out to be no larger than a quarter in diameter, they are a little thick, but for 120 calories a piece, I hope they're good! (Then again, maybe I don't hope they're good, because that's a lot of calories for a little snack!)

I guess I should also note that that calorie count reflects substitution of sugar for honey, bc I was out of honey.
  • These sound good! I'll try them with agave, maybe...

Okay, I ate two about half an hour ago and they're surprisingly satisfying... sort of like a mini bread or a cake. (At least the way I made them). Not too sweet... and I think I may stay full for a while. I guess if they keep me full, it's worth the 240 calories as a snack.
  • You can try maple syrup instead of honey too!

That sounds better than honey! And I'd definitely try the PB2 instead of regular peanut butter.

Do you use just plain oats or do you cook them first? Sorry if this is a stupid question...I am not savvy in the kitchen! lol
