Weekend Wars

Hey everyone! So I have been struggling with staying focused on the weekends and remaining on my schedule. During the week I seem to find it easier for some reason to remain focused, eating right, and working out. But Friday, Saturday and Sunday are so hard.

Friday, as long as I can manage to workout in the AM then I am usually fine and can be food about what I eat for dinner that night since we normally go out.

Saturday: This is hard because some times I get my workout in and some times we are so busy with things to do and places to go that I don't and sometimes I am just flat out tired from the week that I sleep in late and am unmotivated. Then the food choices are never as strict as they are during the week for some reason either.

Sunday: This is my rest day (Insanity workouts) so this day is kind of hard to stay within my 1200/day calorie range because we always have to eat out at least for lunch on Sundays and often times for dinner even.

I am just frustrated that I can't remain as focused on my weekends as I do during the week days. Anyone else struggle or have struggled with this? Anyone out there offer some advice? Tips?! Anything?! Thanks!

  • I have the same exact problem. Eating out, weekends, they just seem to go together. I never seem to fit in a workout on the weekends either. I would love to see some advice on how to get this under control.

    Fruits, veggies, whole grains, lean meats. You can eat a LOT of veggies without going over your calorie limit. :D

    yESSS! i have the same problem....all week long i have my routine, i manage to fit in my workout times. I have 5 yr old and a 7 month old and the baby only allows me to excersise and play happily for so long before she gets mad im not paying attention to her. So i still manage somehow.....then comes the weekend where my husbands off work and you would THINK it'd be much easier....well between being busy trying to entertain the kids and get stuff done and then losing motivation bc its the weekend and eating worse, every weekend i lose focus and its affecting my weigh ins every monday. Im yet to figure out how to balence and be sucsessful on the weekends. weekend wars is right!!! im glad im not the only one with this problem.
