I have noticed that I have more energy when I dont eat. When I do eat I.feel all sluggish and tired. Even if I eat protien,veggies,fruit...i dont really eat junk food. Anybody else have this...whats the deal with me. I feel like I do way better not eating hardly.

You are fooling yourself babes! You feel better because you are lighter! You need to eat *better* foods that will burn off when you exercise.
Start logging your foods. Look at your fats, carbs and proteins then see how you feel after exercising on REAL food!

you may have an intolerance to certain foods - I do. Eggs ae on my no-eat list because they make me feel like a slug. that means anything with egg in it causes me to doze..zzzzzz...it sucks because they are a power food, just not for me.0

I can't see your food diary, so I don't have much to offer, but I'm assuming that you're eating a lot of processed foods. If you're eating healthy food you shouldn't feel sluggish. Other than that, if you change your diet to a healthy one and still feel sluggish, see your doctor.0

I am a Personal Trainer and I find when I advise my clients on new eating ideas they tend to struggle. It is not because their bodies can't tolerate what I suggest they do it is simply because they are not used to eating this way.
Every time you make a change in your diet there is an adjustement period that you have to allow your body to go through. A perfect example is people who swear they can not eat breakfast because they are not hungry and/or because it makes them sick. I find time and time again after they force themselves to eat small amounts of breakfast their body adapts and begins to like having breakfast.
Food is energy and it is impossible for it to take energy away from you. Just be sure that you are eating the appropriate foods and your body should adjust. I hope this helps.0 -
I can understand where you're coming from, there was a time when I just couldn't eat much salad or vegetable because it would make me sick to my stomach. I also agree with the comments above that you have to give your body time to adapt to eating new food. I was completely guilty of eating too much processed food and it took about 3 months for my body to stop craving them.
Have you tried splitting up your daily calorie goal into 4-5 smaller meals and then planning out what you are going to eat? That worked for me and it seems like I am eating all day long but really I am just not eating a lot at one time (but it adds up quite nicely!)
The danger with feeling better not eating very much (if you mean like less than 1,000 calories) is that it will not last. Your body will find the feed and the binge/purge cycle is much harder on your body than getting it adapted to eating well.0
