Holy crap. Gas under $3.00

I just had to run over to the court house (which is in a different town), and gas there was $2.99. Hurray, It has finally when back under $3.00.

What is it at your pumps?

    I'm in Iowa. Our town is always 5-7 cents more than any town around, and we are at~~~ $2.84. UNBELIEVABLE!!

    My DH truck is diesel, and that is $3.80 something, I think. But, on vacation this year, we spent nearly $5.00/gallon. So, this is better!

    I got it for $2.97, but that was because of my Safeway discount. I had bought a lot of groceries and not a lot of gas, so I had an 80-cents-per-gallon discount. That was a couple of weeks ago, though.

    I'm glad it's going down. I have a SUV and it's kind of spendy to fill it, luckily me, hubby and kids all ride in to town for work and school together.

    $2.83 is the cheapest I've seen it and that was on my way home yesterday. Who knows? Maybe it'll go down even more by the time I get home today (wishful thinking). :huh:

    Gas prices in southern Louisiana yesterday = $3.80 (I use premium), 3 1/2 later in Houston premium = $3.01 per gallon. Too bad I needed that $3.80/gal to get home.

    Can I ask--where in NE Wisconsin? I live in Green Bay and it is $3.28 and that is the lowest I've seen.

    In Costa Rica it is more or less 700 colones per liter...a dollar is around 559.00 colones...so I guess a gallon of gas here is around $3.75
