Side note, my mother had to hide her baking items due to my obsession with this.....and her glass bowls......

I just remembered, as a kid (when Mom wasn't around) I used to make sugar sandwiches. I would sprinkle suger on a slice of bread and press the other slice on top. EWWWW!!! I couldn't even imagine doing that now. :noway:

I was going to say that. Has to be soft bread, real butter and refined sugar. Is there ANYTHING good about that?!?! :smooched: :smooched:

I used to eat sugar toast for breakfast when I was a kid but only when I was at my dads house. My mom never let us have a whole lot of sugar. the only time we were allowed sugar at my moms house was if we ere making kool aid. But when I got older I used to dip marshmellows in jello powder. SOOOOO good.

    Mine is basic, yet sinful...

You know when they come to your door selling the big tubs of cookie dough....you gotta buy them to support the lil kids... and then they sit and stair at me. There is never a cookie baked... I will eat the whoe damn container one spoonful at a time. Don't even get me started on the brownie mix I bought from one kid last year! I had my daughter convinced it was our secret treat for when daddy and brother went to wrestling practice....

    It's just soooooo wrong!

Love love love butter and sugar sandwiches! And cinnamon-sugar donuts made out of canned biscuits! And dark M&Ms smushed in a spoon of peanut butter!

And, it's not really sinful, but this has no nutritional value whatsoever -- if I want chocolate pudding and we don't have any, I'll put Cool Whip in a bowl and stir in a spoonful of cocoa powder. Beat it 'til it's mixed real good. It tastes like chocolate mousse!

When I lived in Kansas, someone brought a cake to work and the name of it was "Better Than Sex Cake". Seriously! And it was a very appropriate title.

I'm not huge on sweets so mine is a salty pleasure. I used to take a slice of turkey, cover it in mayo and wrap it around a pickle. It was soo good.

I LOVE Better than sex cake. Devil's food cake that you make holes in, heat up some caramel, cover the cake with it after it cools, cover with whipped cream and heath bars cut up. Mmmmm...

The recipe my former co-worker gave me, I believe, had at least two or three types of sweet stuff included in it. I think maybe caramel ice cream topping, chocolate ice cream topping and maybe another one. I'm not sure, but man oh man it was sweet and very, very rich and moist!! Lucky for me I don't still have the recipe.

Oh there are so many things I could think of here! Gotta love Paula Deen for the deliciously terrible things she concocts! I LOVE her Gorilla Bread. You take a couple cans of Pillsbury biscuits, cut them into 4th's and roll them out slightly. Put a cube of cream cheese into each one, pinch it into a ball and roll it in cinnamon sugar. Layer them in a tube pan with pecans, a homemade caramel syrup and more cinnamon sugar and bake. Oh dear God is it good!!
