That was so moving, so well put together. It really made me think:

Have you ever missed an important event because you were 'too fat'?

We had a get together with a group of people who had worked at this little restaraunt together for about 5-6 years. We were in our 20's and all had 1-3 babies while we worked together. As you can imagine, we had bonded over all those weddings, pregnancies and births.

I actually thought about not going because I was 40 lbs heavier, then said the hell with that and went. We had such a great time. ( and the young 20 something pregnant waitress was a plus!! boy did she get the tip of her life!)

I later called one of the girls who was my partner for 3 yrs on the floor. Together we went thru 4 babies...wow! I asked her why she didnt come and she said she was too embarrased because she was fat. I told her the bus boy was bald now, but he came!!

How many of us are reading this right now thinking, I am not going to the reunion, wedding, shower, beach vacation, disneyland(I did this!) or any other time where memories will be made (or pictures will be taken, lol)

Lets promise to get out there ladies.

Get into life.

Get into the picture.

The people sourrounding you love you, just the way you are. You are beautiful!!
