Need a pick me up!

I feel Blah! I exercised for a few mins (I really need to sit down and write a paper) but I'm just so tired. I've eaten, drank lots of water, but I just feel so tired (and I slept good last night!) It's just after 2:30pm here and I feel like I have toothpicks holding my lids opens. :noway:

    Splash some cold water on your face & take some deep breaths. Sometimes when we're tired we're just not getting enough oxygen to the brain. :smile:

    I vote for a nap, but only if I get to take one too. That is how I felt yesterday. I'm glad that I feel better today.

    NAP! You'll feel better & more focused...or you'll sleep until the morning & not get your paper done. Eh. Maybe the banana idea is better.

    Be sure to combine a protein and a carb for your snack! Or you could try a 1/2 FF milk,1/2 coffee drink for protein, dairy and pick me up! Good luck!

    if you notice it a lot your iron levels might be low. might want to keep an eye on that!

    Any chance you do Yoga? If so do a couple morning type positions...the wake ya UP type.

    A protein/carb snack should help alot! Good for you for treating yourself to a lil nap...

    This paper is gonna turn out GREAT....you'll get it goin and be so focused because you've made healthy choices and your brain will now be able to concentrate!!:flowerforyou: :drinker:

    Keep the water close by as well...amazing what chilled water can do as a pick me up!!:drinker:
