Does this happen to anyone else?

I don't know why this happens....I get up in the morning, use the bathroom, weigh myself and I am x amount of weight. If I wait another hour or so, don't eat anything, don't drink anything, don't use the bathroom again and weigh myself, I am like a pound lighter! How could I loose a pound in an hour doing absolutely nothing?

yes that definatly happens to me - I have no clue why so I actually don't weight myself until about 7:30am. the 2nd time I'm lighter :) I;ll take that!

I have exactly the same thing happen. Don't understand it. I usually get up around 3 or 4am to use the bathroom or get a drink of water, so a lot of times I get weighed. Go back to bed. Sleep for another hour. Get up. Get weighed again. Usually exactly one pound lighter. Makes no sense. But not complaining!
  • Same thing for me. If I weigh myself right after I do my business versus waiting about an hour after, I am a good 1-2 lbs lighter.

Yep, I often wonder if it has to do with my muscles and joints being swollen (retaining water) when I get up after being in bed all night. I like to walk around a bit before I get on the scale to loosen things up and try to get the lowest number possible.

This is exactly why I don't weigh myself very much. Every couple of months or so. That scale is evil!! I was making myself crazy, worrying about every little flucuation.. So now I don't weigh. I go by how my clothes are fitting, better and better! I know I'm shrinking, I can feel it. But that evil scale makes me nuts! Yep, I'm a "recovering scale *kitten*"!!! LOL:laugh:
