I made these yesterday and they are amazing. I added them to the recipe counter here and they are 266 calories per serving . . . I ended up with 7 servings.

I stuffed 1 large bell (2 servings), 1 small bell and 4 poblano peppers. Gonna eat them for lunch this week. The meat is so good you could also use it in a lettuce wrap.

I LOVE stuffed bell peppers but I've never made mine w/ garlic, wine, or raisins. I may have to just try this recipe. It sounds delicious. Thanks for sharing!

Yum!! Sounds Delish! I will have to make them- when I can actually find some sherry wine to cook with for less than $15 a bottle. lol A note to everyone- DON'T use cooking sherry- it has added sodium- LOTS of it. :)

TRUE! I didn't use cooking Sherry, it was just the easiest ingrediant to add to my recipe list :)
  • The rice stuffing is nice wrapped in vine leaves as well - it's called dolma  My Mum also stuffs onions which tastes great too
