Had to go to a local brewery to make some arrangements for a meeting I run every Friday night. Naturally, I decided to have a pint while I was there. Typically, I would have had more than one, but I kept it to the single. Sleepy Dog Brewery's Tail Chaser IPA, for those keeping score.
Keeping of keeping score, I dutifully added the pint to my count, using the formula I detailed earlier. Then I rode my bike all the way home, which pretty much negated the beer. But I do this almost every day, so I had to balance with a moderate dinner.
Lo and behold, I made it under goal by nearly 300 calories! And the scale says I'm down from yesterday.
Beer + exercise + calorie counting = FTW. It can be done!0
