any quick method of weight loss isn't recommended. the quicker you lose weight, the quicker your body will gain it back, because for three weeks, it's more than likely you didn't develop a lifestyle change and will go back to your bad habits. my suggestion is, reexamine why you want those lbs off, and if you want them off for good, prepare yourself for making changes for the better and committing to a healthier lifestyle.0

I don't know what your starting weight is and if you really have 10+ lbs to loose but I did have good experience trying out the first phase of south beach diet for 2 weeks and I lost around 8 lbs. But bear in mind that is all water weight. Once you stop, it will creep back up.
Hope this helps.
BTW- this is my first post at this board.0 -
CARDIO n lots of it....each lb burned off is 3500 cals so you better plan on burning 2000 a day and not eating them back!!!! you won't be able to do it on diet alone...gonna be hard....0

UMMMM and when you body goes into starvation mode (google it!) you will gain all of it back and then some! Not advisable.0 -

My husband lost 9lbs. in 3 weeks but he gained all his weight back:laugh: . He was drinking water all day and eating one slice pizza in whole day.
I also lost 3-4 lbs in 6 day yoga camp in India. basically by doing Kapalbhati yoga pranayam. Right now it is very popular yoga over there. I have myself seen people losing weight and also even many health condidtions also if you want to try there are many videos on youtube.(make sure you type Baba Ramdev video in English, most of these are in native language).0 -
get of the bus a few stops earlier, take the stairs instead of the escalator etc. or just have a walk for 30 minutes or so every day with some good music in the ears, perfect now when the spring is on its way! it will give much more than one thinks. and of course eat less. but some exercise every day is the easiest way, at least for me - i can't stop eating good things, food's my life!
another easy trick is to drink a glass of water mixed with lemon and some honey before every meal, especially breakfast, it will increase the fat loss. and to drink green tea before exercise will do the same
good luck!0 -
I think i should just stick with what i have been doing.. idont want to gain it back....0

I actually managed to loose 12lb in 3 weeks and started this journey at 112lbs. I then lost another 2 and have been maintaining 98 lbs for nearly 7 weeks now with just 1lb weight gain. I worked hard and was given 1200 cals - I ate all of them plus nearly all my exercise cals AND still do that even now that I have 1600 cals per day.
So it can be done, it wasnt my intention to do it that quickly, my weight just dropped off me. I have pics on my profile and a link to my blog where I have more info on this plus lots of recipe/dinner ideas (all with pics). I make sure my body is fully 'fuelled', I never ever go to bed hungry and I eat 99% of the time all home made, fresh foods. Food diary also open - u can skip back to jan/feb to see 1200 cal entries there.
Everyone is different. I hope that is useful info.
Be careful though and be realistic about yourself.
Best of luck to you! xxx0 -

^ what she said!!!
You don't have to go into "starvation mode". People do it all the time. It's just really hard work. I wish I had the discipline to do it.
Good luck!0
