Shred it with Weights - kettlebell

Hi all,
I'm about to start my new 30 day program next week so I think I'm gonna go with Shred it with Weights. Can I hear some feedback about this and also, what is the weight for the kettlebell? I have a pair of 5 lb dumbbells but I like kettlebells so I'm gonna buy some.
I've done the 30 Day Shred and 30 Day Slimdown. Wouldn't say I'm 'athletic' or 'extremely fit' but I can lift some weights. I've done kettlebell exercises before as well so not really a novice at this. I'm thinking 10 - 15 lbs? What do you guys think?

I use a 10 lb myself and want to get a 15 to stretch myself a bit. If you've been doing weights for a bit, I'd recommend the 15.
I use Jillians Shred, but also like the DVD that came with the Kettlebell - I switch them up for variety. Truth is I get tired of hearing JM at times
enjoy - I love my kettlebell workouts!0 -
If you've used kettle bells before I say go for a heavier weight. WTG!0

I would go with 15lbs too! Good luck! And God bless you!:flowerforyou:0

Thanks guys. Another question, did you guys do it everyday for 30 days, 15 days on each level? Or 5-6 days a week? Or one day then skip a day then another day and so on?
Sorry about all the questions!!0 -
Kettlebells rock. Ive been using them for about a year. Be careful though they can hurt you if you dont use good form.. Start light maybe 10lb or 15ob and work your way up . Im a guy and Dragondoor recommends to start with a 35#. You can shred some serious fat with them and build muscle which shreds more fat they are great!0

hey tiff, i recently decided to buy a 15 pound kettleball - it will be at my house by the time i return from beijing - can't wait!
i also ordered two dvds that got great reviews on amazon.com - kettlebell bombshell with lisa balash, and kettlebell dynamics by amy bento. regardless, i'm sure kettlebell workouts will kick our butts and make us look even more awesome!
