So I have been religiously working out and eating well for about the past month now, but I have been on the site for about two months. It had been slow going for me in some instances because I was not used to the new life style.

After about a month of dilly-dallying around, I decided that it was time to bunker down and actually do what I came to the site to do. I now exercise almost daily and I have been staying under calorie count on more than one occasion, which is good for me, because I usually do poorly at eating when I am stressed (and since it's my first year of teaching, I am stressed all the time).

Well, as of today I can report that my pants are feeling a little looser and I am so happy. I may have only lost 3 pounds so far, but the inches are where it counts (since this weigh in had not loss or gain).

I am posting this here, because I think that it will give all of you the motivation to stick with it! I wanted to give up when I didn't loose anything, but I have stuck with it and I know with this small victory, I can acheive anything that I want.

Happy April to everyone. Keep up the amazing work

    That is awesome! Congrats!
  • It's my first year of teaching too so I can totally relate. It's awesome what you've done so far especially with how stressful this year must have been for you! Congrats!!

awesome job! Been there before. I am a teacher as well. And the pounds come off slower than the inches. Especially if you do yoga and pilates.
