Hi, I have been diagonased with type 2 diabeties, high cholestral, and high blood pressure in Dec. 2009. Last year I lost 50
pounds and dropped my numbers with the help of meds. This year I keep on losing and gaining the same 10 pounds. I
still have 36 pounds to lose. I did some 5k walk/runs in the last year. I can't get motivated this year like last year. Looking for ideas on getting more motived this year and someone that I can send messages for help and support. I am almost 49 years
old. I like to take walks on my free time.I am a female divorced with no children.

I feel like the south beach advocate, but I really like the diet. It's low carb and low fat, so good for your cholesterol, heart, BP, and waist line.

I am starting South Beach on Monday.
  • I'm a Type 1 diabetic. While I don't adhere to a 'low-carb' diet, I do have to count carbs to dose my insulin. If you have questions you can always bounce them off me and I can try my best to help! I'll send you a friend request.
