Could I be... pregnant??

Now I know chances are very slim because I have had a tubal but I just got the clips.. nothing cut.. and that was 7 years ago.. my last period which was almost 3 weeks ago was only spotting for one day.. and I've been throwing up almost every day since... and the days I don't I really feel like crap all day... what's going on with me :( now my boobs have be soar since Thrusday.. that's usually my first sign of TOM or pregnancy..

    You might want to take a test just in case. I had a scare like that once but it turned out to be just a really bad period that month. Let us know the results

    Take a test asap. I have a friend that had her tubes tied and managed to get pregnant.

    Yes you could be pregnant. I had gotten pregnant 22 1/2 years after I had a tubal (cut and tied) The longer the procedure occurred the stronger your chances get. Unfortunately I was told by my doctor that the baby would not survive and I had a miscarriage on New Years Eve. So for your health, go to your OB as soon as possible to just get checked. Good Luck

    I have the same thing as you..no cuts, just clips, and Dr. said there is less than a 1% of getting preggers. take a test!

    I don't want to be an alarmist, but I've had experience with this kind of thing. The egg is too big to fit through the tied off tube, but the sperm is small enough to go through just fine. It ended up implanting in my Fallopian tube.......not good.

    Go right to the doctor.....today. Get a pregnancy test and an ultrasound. Make sure if you are pregnant that it's not stuck in your Fallopian tube. This happened to me and I had to have emergency surgery because the pregnancy was bursting my tube and I had internal bleeding.

    I would take a test if I were you. I read up on it and what I read said it is only 99% effective in the first year and after that there is a chance your tubes could fix themselves. What scared me is that it said if a woman does get pregnant after having this surgery, it is very likely she will have an ectopic pregnancy (where the egg implants in the tubes). That is the worst case scenario. I would DEFINITELY take a pregnancy test!

    Thanks everyone.. I do know that it is possible and that I need to take a test.. I guess I'm just cared to take a test lol

    I just wanted to see everyone's thoughts on this... because the more I talk about it the more I hear of woman who do get pregnant after a tubal.. and since I only got the clips.. nothing got cut or anything like that.. there's a tiny bigger chance.. but yes it does scare me that if I would be pregnant that it wouldn't pass the clip... I do have sharp pains on my left side.. but I also have an ovary cyst...

    ok I need to call my doctor :( I guess I just needed to chit-chat about this a little... I'm having a bad and sad day today...

    My 7 month old is proof that you can get pregnant after a tubal. Best surprise ever! Ok, I wasn't saying that last January when I found out I was pregnant, but I can't imagine my life without my little guy.

    If you are pregnant, please call your doctor right away. I had to go in for a couple of blood tests and ultrasounds. They wanted to make sure it wasn't ectopic.

    I'm NOT pregnant :) I couldn't take it anymore so on my lunch break I went to buy a test and took it right away... and it's Negative :o)
