uses for sugar-free syrups?

Options
i love torani sugar-free syrups... right now i have almond, pumpkin pie, white chocolate, peanut butter, coconut, vanilla....

i've been using them in drinks--coffee, milkshakes, to make a diet cream soda from seltzer water--but that's pretty standard. recently, i discovered that they're amazing in oatmeal (my oatmeal is 100 cals, add spray butter and flavor for no extra cals), and i occasionally use a bit of them as a dressing for veggies.

anyone else have creative uses?

not to sound picky, but what is the general carb count on those? any strange ingredients that are hard to pronounce? they sound good though!

I think there are several Hungry Girl recipes that use them...hungrygirl.com.

no carbs, but probably yes to strange ingredients. you can buy the sugar-free vanilla in most grocery stores, but to get a decent flavor selection you have to order online. da vinci is another brand with a few different flavors.

It's the same kind of stuff they use in the coffee shops to flavor coffee. You can order online at the manufacturers web sites for both Torani (http://www.torani.com/) or DaVinci (http://www.davincigourmet.com/). They have a huge selection of sugar free flavored syrups, and concentrated teas. I like the DaVinci Chai tea, and use the vanilla in home made lattes and cappuccinos. Put a shot of the sugar free chocolate syrup in a strawberry smoothie...yummmm!

If you have a Cash n Carry or other restaurant supply store that is open to the public they have an amazing selection and are much cheaper than buying elsewhere! I typically have several flavors on hand and have been adding them to my protein shakes. Yum!
