    I'd add some whey protein if having before bed personally :) Oatmeal is great for a THICK shake :P

    I usually just use 1/4 cup of oatmeal in mine. with 1/2 frozen banana, and a scoop of whey, 1/2 cup skim milk, sometimes peanut butter, sometimes spinach, and peppermint extract. I use it for pre/post workouts.

    Made my own version this morning.

    Used 1/2 scoop pure protein power
    1 cup of silk soy
    1/2 cup of oatmeal
    2 tbps of raw honey
    2 cups of water
    1/4 cup of mixed berries

    yields a giant 32 oz cup + extra = 478 calories
