I love Earth Grains Thin Buns. They're great for sandwichs, but not great for toast (they get too dry when toasted). The Earth Grains are moister than the Orowheat or Sara Lee thin buns. They're 100 cals per bun.

Wonder Bread - Smart White 100 calories for 2 slices & cheaper than many of the 45/slice options. It is also lower in sodium than most normal loafs.

Arnold's Sandwich Thins (Wheat) with flax and fiber. The are great. 100 cals and good source of carb and protein. I like my organic peanut butter and Polaner all fruit jam on them. I also use then for ground turkey burgers and sandwiches like that. Very tasty and available in almost any food store.

Spelt bread at Sunflower. Their brand. 40 calories per slice, very dense, and oh so good. It really fills you up! Who knew spelt could be so yummy?

I am crazy for Granary but this is certainly not low in cals :grumble:

I really enjoy weight - watchers brown loaf in the UK....very nice! Stay away from the weightwatchers danish...it's no good for anything other than toast, it just falls apart as I found out trying to make bacon butties for the builders

I'm on a budget so for me it is Kroger Light Wheat Bread. Only 45 calories and only 50 cents more than the store brand white bread.
