I use a protein shake by intek nutrition all natural and tastes great, doesn't clump etc etc. been using the orange creamsicle and i am loving it. here is the link to their web site. also 34g of protein per serving if you mix it with water, a little more if you mix with milk.

I like to make my chocolate covered cherry shake:

    chocolate soy milk
    cherry yogurt
    protein powder

I love this combo when I'm craving something sweet for breakfast!

Blend with frozen banana for a thick shake
  • I usually get vanilla or unflavored protein powder - it's a bit more versatile, but what about these flavor options:
Choco -Peanut Buttter - add 1T PB
Choco mint - add a dash of mint extract (a little bit should go a long way)
I used to like to get chocolate frozen yogurt topped with strawberries - you could add frozen strawberries. Frozen rasperries as well.
    Choco-Banana-PB
Mocha - add instant coffee (or add to your coffee, if you drink coffee)

    chocolate orange:
    1 scoop of protein powder
    1/4 tsp orange extract
1/2 cup skim milk, or water

    mint chocolate :
same except use peppermint extract. I also add 1/2 frozen banana for thickening

    chocolate peanut butter:
    scoop protein
    1 tbsp natural peanut butter
    1/2 banana
1/2 cup skim milk or water

    chocolate cherry:
    scoop protein
    1/2 cup frozen cherries
1/2 cup skim milk or water

I also add icecubes to these to thicken, and make more shake-like.

    I usually do chocolate/banana, chocolate/raspberry or chocolate/peanut butter. Sometimes I'll do chocolate/strawberry.

Extracts seem interesting... what's in them though? (what are they made of?). Is it a chemical base? I might have to try that!

Some other things to do with chocolate protein powder:

    Chocolate Lava Cake:

1 heaping scoop chocolate protein powder

    1 heaping tablespoon cocoa

    1 egg white

    1/2 tsp vanilla

1 packet of stevia or splenda

    pinch of baking powder

    Less than 1/8 cup water

Mix all ingredients but water together with a fork in a GLASS bowl.

Mix in half of the 1/8 cup of water and stir.

The batter should be just a little runnier than cake batter.

Add more water if you need to.

    Microwave for 35 seconds.

The center should be just a little runny...that means it's done. You may have to play with your microwave times a little bit, but 35 seconds is about

    Brownies:

Two scoops of any protein.. add 1 tbs of PB or almond butter, now add some milk, a dash of milk not much, mix really well.. now pop in the microwave for 40-50secs..

Top with nuts, more milk and blueberries!

    Peanut Butter Fudge Bars (Anytime)

    Prep Time - 5 minutes
    Difficulty Level - Easy
    Servings - 4

    Ingredients:
    4 scoops chocolate protein powder
    2/3 cup flax meal
4 Tbsp chunky natural peanut butter
    1/4 cup water
    Splenda, to taste

    Instructions:
Mix everything together in a large bowl and start stirring. At first, it will seem like it's not enough water, but keep stirring, and it will eventually become a sticky blob of dough. If you have to, add some water 1 tablespoon at a time. Divide the mixture in four equal portions, and put them into separate pieces of plastic wrap. It's easier to shape them by laying plastic wrap in one side of a small casserole dish, pressing the dough into the natural shape of the dish. Put the bars in the fridge, or store them in the freezer. You can eat them chilled, or even frozen, or you can eat it right out of the bowl if you're feeling impatient.
