Hey all :-)

Decided to join today. Not a good day to join as I have already consumed waayyyyy too many calories and now have none left for the rest of the day...my bad! However, this does not mean that I am giving up what I have only just started. It is simply a rather open way of shame-facing me to confront my horrific dietary habits when stressed out and realising that I have the willpower of an amoeba.

That said, I have been going to the gym 3/4 times per week for the last month and so I am simply putting today down as a bad day and will pick up the reins again tomorrow and not be put off by my own bad choices.

It goes without saying that right now I have the energy levels of a sun-baked brick but hey, I also realise that I have noone else to blame but me, myself and I!

Other than starting off in a rather demotivational manner, I hope that some of you out there wil stop by and say hi and maybe even add me - give me a kick up the *kitten* when times get tough :-)

Good luck to one and all, whatever stage of your fitness regime you are at :-)

That is what is great about this site. We do not know how we are sabotaging ourselves until we enter it into the food diary. Tomorrow is a new day.

    Good luck on your journey!

Don't be too hard on yourself. THere are bad days and you just have to acknowledge them and move on. Personally, I'm coming off a really bad week. Just focus on what you can do to improve.

You have an inner sloth? I have an inner child who is given to throwing pretty impressive tantrums. I let her run things last week, and let me tell you, she sure made a mess of things. But, I'm back to being a grown up today. Pick Yourself up, dust Yourself off, and put Yourself back in the game.

I joined this weekend myself and on Saturday, realized just HOW truly bad my eating habits were! It no fun having a slap in the face is it? But like everyone else said, I was actually looking forward to Sunday, start fresh and make it all good! LOL So to speak. Good luck and I hear ya on the kick in the *kitten* when you need some motivation.

My inner child loves ice cream and chocolate. I keep her satisfied by just having a little bit of ice cream with a little bit of all natural chocolate sauce, and I always plan it into my day. It's nice to have a sweet reward at the end of the day, and knowing that I'll get it at the end of the day makes it easier for me to stay on task with my other food choices.
  • Hi & welcome, you'll love it here! you or anyone can add me! also my husband rumblybigred, my sister shellyp3, and my cousin mistletoes71, tomorrow is another day!!!
