April Shed challenge!!!

OK, people!!! We are done week one of Jillian's 30 day Shred! How did everyone do? Share your results so far after one week:

Last Friday my measurements were:

waist: 31
hips:42.5
thigh:25

Today I measured:

waist: 30.5
hips:42
thigh: 25

Total inches lost: 1

Hey, it's not a lot, but I also lost 2 pounds and I feel stronger and firmer, so if it can do that in just one week, I think I'm heading in the right direction!!!

How did you all do?!

    So I finished the first week! Wahoo. I'll do it again once I get home from work today, but I did take my measurements last night. They might be a little smaller today, but that's ok. :) Haven't missed a day yet, and hoping that my schedule allows me to do it every day for the next 22 days.

    Last Friday my measurements were:

    Height: 5'10"
    Starting weight: 185
    Waist: 34.25
    Hips: 44.25
    Thighs: 25

    Today I measured:

    Weight: 183.8
    Waist: 33.25
    Hips: 44
    Thighs: 25

    Total inches lost: 1.25

    It's not a huge loss, but I measured under my belly button too and that's lost an inch too. I'm standing more straight and feeling more confident. Not bad for a week. :)

    Ok I am a day behind still! and I didn't measure myself (I KNOW I SUCK AT THIS!!) but that kinda only really sucks for me because I am super excited for those of you who can measure inches lost! I will for sure measure myself this weekend. I can't do it tonight because I work right after work (waitressing shift) but I will be on it tomorrow morning for sure!

    Total: 3.5 inches lost, but 1.5 lbs gain.
    I can feel my tummy IS firmer, so it's probably water retention last week (I don't exercise that much before this challenge). BUT I dunno why I weight goes up that much. Maybe my scale broke :laugh: I know muscle weight more but that's a pretty big gain. Next week I will do better. I can almost keep up with Jillian now. :wink:

    That's excellent! You are doing great!!! Don't worry about the weight, the proof is in the measurements! Can't wait to see how you do by next week!!!
  • Slow but steady wins the race!! We may not be seeing huge changes right away but they are happening!!

  • Are you ladies still doing the 30 day shred? **hears crickets** Lol this is the worst support group ever... Just kidding but we should check in on each other more often in case someone falls off the wagon.
