4 rounds
4 mins - jump 30 x's and mark on paper
1 min - Leg up/downs (one ab exercise)
Then repeat 4 times and there is 20 mins.
At the end of your work out you tally up the amount of jumps/skips for each round. Its fun bc the next week you try to beat it. So you are competing with your self!
Interval timers work the best for this so you dont have to keep stopping to look at a stop watch.0 -
A work out that I did last week:
60 skips (jumps ropping)
5 kicks to the heavy bag (each leg)
5 Elbows to the heavy bag
20 second walk0 -
Thanks! I'm trying to get the whole rope hopping down again. It was so easy when we were kids.....
Any other suggestions? Videos?0 -
Yes make sure you adjust your rope to your height or it will whip you and not work correctly. Also if you get frustrated and whip yourself 100000000x put the rope aside and pretend you have the rope in your hands to get your foot work down for a week or so.0

Next to the stairs its one of the best cardios you can do. Because it is all you and there is no help from machines. Its even better than jogging0
