So, it is employee appreciation week at work which means food, more food and more food. I had to bake 3 apple pies for the festivities. There is one sitting right next to me, and it is calling my name! I will be so mad at myself if I give in and have a piece. My resolve is crumbling!

Nothing tastes as good as feeling thin feels!0

Honestly, be fair to yourself and if you decide to have some, have half of a slice and log it. Part of this is learning to enjoy in moderation....and learn to accommodate with exercise.0

Man I would have brought a friut tray or a veggie tray instead of that...take the lead and fix or bring something healthy... Also mind over matter say no to pie! Think of it this way...how long would you have to do on the treadmill or eliptical to work that piece off? That is how i do it! YOu can do it!0

Use that willpower! No-one can overcome your resolve!!!!!
Otherwise, have a very small piece and do more exercise later today or tomorrow to burn it off.
Everything in moderation, you can't abolish all treats, life would be so hard without them !
Take care

Next time when you're picking up ingredients to make the pie...grab a box of Apple Cinnamon Nutra Grain Bars....pop it in the microwave for 15 sec....yum....tastes like apple pie....and I don't even like apple pie all that much....you could even put a dollop of whip cream on top if you want to....yum....0 -
:noway: bake something you dont like... like pumpkin pie0

or you could have made one sugar free!0

The pie wasn't my choice. They were made for a charity event and one of our executives bought them for the teams. I had to take three of them home and bake them.0

i'm lucky, pie is one of the last things that i crave! good luck staying strong! Can you move the pie away from your desk?0
