Hey guys I'm going grocery shopping later today and was wondering if anybody has any ideas! Here's my list so far:

Hummus
Arizona Diet Green Tea
Veggies
Lean Pockets
Special K Bars
Sugar Free Jolly Ranchers

As you can see, I still need some more ideas! Any suggestions?

depends on what you are asking? Snacks or dinner?

For dinner maybe some chicken breasts? Tilipia? 16/18 count shrimp?

Snacks: my fave are frozen grapes, grapefruit, frozen strawberries & soy milk, cottage cheese & pineapple tidbits
my hubby likes beef jerky in moderation & fresh mangos

Maybe take out the arizona tea and subsitute with water mixers from walmart? or that new mio?

Those are just some suggestions: I'm not an expert

    Happy shopping! :)

I actually just started working on mine yesterday. I have a ton of meat frozen so I do not need to buy that but normally I buy the following meats:

    Chicken breasts
    Pork tenderloin
    Turkey burgers
    Lean ground beef
Steak (ribeye - 160calories or chuck tender steak - 120 calories)
    Turkey breast or temderloins

    The rest:
    Milk
    Salad dressing
    Salad mix
    Tomatoes
    Shrooms
    Bell pepper (green or others)
    Cucumbers
    Sandwich meat
    Low cal sliced cheese
    Low cal chips for lunches
    Frozen veggies
    Carrots
    onions
    Sweet potatoes
    Broccoli
    Corn on cob
    Strawberries
    Canned whipped topping (fat free)
    Homemade pizza "stuff"
    Skinny cow dessert items
    Apples
    Oranges
    Bananas
    Low cal bread
    Yogurt
    Granola
    Fish or shrimp
  • Green peppers (good with your hummus - better than getting pita), fresh roma tomatoes, papaya, grapefruit (only have half a day because high in sugar), celery, carrots (slice them yourself - healthier than the baby carrots), peas, Fiber One Original Cereal (60 calories and 0 sugar for 1/2 cup), non fat skim milk, raw lemon for water, Mott's Antioxidant No Sugar Added Pomegranate, unsalted almonds for protein (only have 3-4 a day though), fresh fish (not frozen), case of eggs (hardboil them and then remove the yolk), Greek yogurt (plain 0% fat), dry lentils (to cook/not canned), Special K Bars are fine but limit yourself to one a day (I do the same thing), Laughing Cow Cheese, asparagus, french baguette bread (mainly made with water so low cal/carb/sugar), Green tea (bags not canned).

Stay away from frozen foods and canned foods (preservatives and high in sodium) - try to get fresh. Keep it raw or make this from scratch (much healthier nutritional wise. Tofu if you are trying to stay away from meats for protein (if you decide to flavor it, try to stay away from spices that are loaded with salt).
