Would you buy a used HRM? What about these?

Have you heard of this type of HRM? Any clue as to how old they are or how accurate? Thanks :)

(ETA: One is quite old, the other I'm not sure.)

All I can think about is the previous user sweating all over that HRM... No, I wouldn't buy a used one. Polar's a great brand though; I have a PolarF6 and absolutely love it!

Anti-Gross wipes (aka Clorox wipes) are your friend. I just bought a used BodyBugg myself. As for those specific HRMs, I can't say. I have an old Timex one.

I would never buy one 2nd hand, unless I knew exactly who had used it and they were clean freaks and probably like my mum or something AND you knew they were the kind of person who looks after their belongings very well.

Also I use a Garmin, not a Polar. :) (mine was $400 AUD down from $500 AUD as they ordered in too much stock, best money ever spent for running/cycling)
