    sweetie, don't get down... a pound a week is as healthy as it gets. You should be happy. After all, the number IS smaller, right? :)

    Start 01/04/11 = 154
    Last week 08/04/11 = 152 (great)
    TODAY 15/04/11 = 154!!!

    You are doing great! The weight didnt get there overnight and it wont go away any faster.

    Slow and steady is exactly how you want to do it. This isn't some crazy fad diet that's only going to be "over" so you can gain it all back. This is a healthy new lifestyle that will be with you forever. Each pound gone is gone forever, too. Great job, and keep going!

    April 1st Start weight for 30 in 3 : 213
    April 8th (first weigh in): 210
    April 15: 208
    5lbs so far!! I was at a stopping point so this was pretty exciting to see :)

    Next time you are in the grocery store, go to the dairy section pick up that pound of butter and really look at it, then look at you and see what you have lost. Sometime you just need to see what you have lost. Good job, this isn't an easy road!

    Last Friday - 222.2
    Today - 219.8
    Weight loss this week - 2.4, and five pounds so far this month (Just started working out and counting calories again this month)

    I noticed my pants are looser this morning, but just havent dropped any pounds. Maybe next week.

    I compare week on week, but always compare back to my starting weight
    after all, if you lose a few pounds, but then put one on, you've still lost from your starting weight - that's what its all about after all

    Down exactly 1 pound, I'm furstrated too Rach! I think I've been undereating, although I lost about an inch around my waist which is nice.

    We gotta keep going! Even if we don't lose 10 lbs this month, we've still got another 2 months to go!

    I am not sure why, but I keep fluctuating between 147.8 and 146.2. I can't seem to break it. But, I think I have lost a couple lbs since April 1st. But I started this MFP journey at 157 so I am happy with that. Gotta change something up though today. Do something unexpected by my metabolism.

  • I hate to break the bad news to you but as it's only your second check-in, you can probably still expect your weight to go up a little while your body adjusts to your new lack of calories and your muscles are full of blood and pumped from the exercise. Please try not to worry too much within the first 4 weeks I would say. And don't rely on the scales alone - get that tape measure out and measure at the same time, same day 1-2 weeks apart.

    Friday April 15th: 184.2

    1.2 pounds, SLOW but steady, and I had one less day this week in order to get back onto Friday weigh-ins with everyone. If I can lose 5 more pounds this month and get into the 170s, I will be so pumped!! Have a great weekend everyone; STAY STRONG! :)
