    I was just checking the weather (32*) and am headed out for probably a 5 mile run. Have a good one!

    No running-5k yesterday kicked my butt, not feeling so great.

    No running today, but walked about a mile with my dog and am cleaning my house... back to the gym tomorrow!!!

    I got a 5.5 mile run in, felt great! Then came home for a quick breakfast & off to church so I didn't have a chance to post! Hope you're all having a blessed Sunday!

  • Just finished 7 miles of speed work on my treadmill downstairs. The thing is pointed into a corner with no air circulation and is so old the incline is stuck at 1.5%. I posted a Rave Run (Runner's World magazine) layout on the wall in front of me and a fan on the floor. I figure if I can run there I can run anywhere...

    Got about 13.5 in today - it actually felt pretty good. I switched up my route, so the change of scenery definitely did me good.

    One bummer...I've gained a few pounds and I'm not sure why. Does anyone else find that they fluctuate 5lbs. from day to day? Clothing is fitting the same- I guess that's all that matters??

  • Yeah, I am officially back. I was able to run today without discomfort and did 3.5 miles on the treadmill. I was bummed it was so windy outside, because I really wanted to go out to run, but at least I did the treadmil and put in a good effort.
    I am also logging my calories again. I was so bad when I was on the recovery list, and the margaritas didn't help either.
    But last night we booked our air fair to Hawaii for next month and now I am super motivated!!!
    I don't think 15 to 20 pounds is impossible to loose in 4 weeks. I know the first 5 will drop in a matter of a couple days...you know stupid water weight.

    Glad to be back and will be checking in as often as I can again.

    YES! I go up and down almost every day. I wish I didn't care so much about the acutal numbers, b/c like you said, the clothes fit the same, etc, but that stinkin' number holds STRONG on me. Don't worry, you're not up in weight. You probably just had something salty last night.

    Hi Angie

    I ran half a marathon today. Perfect weather...50s...Took 20 mins off from last year which was my first half.... :happy: I was so excited. I have sore calf and had some chaffing on my arms, but overall, not bad. I think I am going to take a few days off!:yawn: That's all for tonight....going to sleep.
