I just had an idea to compare what I would have typically eaten on a daily basis before joining MFP to what i eat now, and here are the results! Im actually in shock with these results!!

The thing is, i still eat loads of food, but just the "better" foods!! Its amazing what counting calories can do!!

That is awesome! So cool that you still feel like you can eat, just healthy stuff! And I'm sure you feel lots more energetic and healthier too!

both looked good. the only thing bad about the first one really, is if you were trying to lose weight...lol. but on a maintenance diet it would work, though it needed more veggies. :P

Haha....Is the stew and potatoes and sodabread a giveaway that im Irish?!?!
I really am shocked at how many calories I was consuming!! I always thought that the soda bread was healthy because it was 'homemade.' O how I was fooled! I have completely given it up now!!

Just really the way you eat! My grandparents came to the US from Ireland- and when I was young I would spend the summers with them...and eat most of the same things!
