18 year old vegan, new here!

Hi everyone, I weighed 115 last year and since then managed to put weight back on and this has been detrimental to my work as well as general fitness levels. I want to lose the weight so I can get back into modelling and just as importantly get fit- i'm a new runner and planning on challenging myself and signing up for a race soon (:

Any younger dieters/vegans please add me and keep in touch, would be great to get some support (:

  • Welcome to the site. I'm a vegetarian (haven't quite gone vegan but at least I only drink organic milk and cage-free eggs!).

    As a vegan, don't you get tired of everyone saying "Oh my god how do you get enough protein!!!!" That is my least favorite comment. I got that last week from someone eating a BLT. Apparently they think bacon is good protein.

    Good luck with the running. Just remember to cross train so you don't get repetitive stress injuries. I like to run mostly on the treadmill--the pavement is just too hard on me.
