What to do about my thighs???

I've always had alittle extra on my thighs and now that I had a baby they have gotten worse. I'm the same weight right now that I was before my baby and I have 2 extra inches on my thighs. I do squats, lunges and I run. does anyone have any ideas as far as other things I could be doing?

Are you a member of a gym? Do they have leg press/hip adduction/abduction maching or a cable machine that has a leg attachment? If you are google vidoes on hip adduction and abduction exercises - they are great for inner/outer thigh :)..I do a million squats and lunges..and until I started with these, no change in thighs...with the leg press there is exercises as well you can do for inner and outer thigh...
  • When your running - trying doing intervals -- throughout the run do a sprint for a minute then back to your regular pace. If you can / want to, try spinning, or pushing yourself hard on a bike (real or stationary). My hips and thighs have always been my biggest area, I am doing both of these things and notice a big difference

I have always had a little extra on my legs too....I found HIIT training has REALLY made a difference for me! In 2 months I lost 2.5 inches and I have NEVER lost that amount of inches on my thighs before!

cardio is going to be your best bet. only thing squats, lunges and wt machines are gonna do is tone up those muscles underneath the fat bulging you out even more. Also steer clear of the elliptical for extended periods of time, its good to throw into the mix here and there but that bulks your legs too. Get on the bike or the treadmill and intervals is a great way to burn it faster!
    good luck
