I'm starting p90x lean today. Anyone else? Or anyone whos doing some other kind of weight loss program?
Lets see how much we can lose in 13 weeks...

I did day one yesterday.. but was only able to get through half of the core synergistics video.
Hopefully It'll get easier as I keep doing it!

Ohhh and a quick question. How do I enter in the videos under my exercise? I just put it under aerobics yesterday but not sure how accurate It would be...0 -
Since I'm doing Turbo Jam, mine is under kickboxing. But I'm not sure... you can research on other sites and figure out an average or something, or if you have a HRM...0

I am a member of TOPS and am trying to do this the sensible way.. so that is what I will be doing.... I need the motivaiton0 -
I'm in! I had a baby in January and thankfully this time around I only gained 33lbs (as opposed to the 65 lbs i gained with my first pregnancy). I'm sleep deprived and nursing so finding time to work out has been very difficult.. but i'm also not motivated to eat right! I'm hoping this is just the thing to motivate me!
SW: 173
CW: 155.4
GW 1: 150 by May 21st (AC bachelorette party with a bunch of skinny youngens)
GW 2: 140 by July 4th (heading to the shore for a week and this would be my pre prego weight)
UGW: 135 this is what I weighed before I got married and i think it's the perfect weight for me!0 -

I can guarantee mine isn't accurate, as I just finished my workout, but I'm 217.2. I would suggest picking a once a week check due to fluctuation, and I'm guessing most of us will see a rise in weight because our bodies aren't used to our workouts. Just saying.0

I allowed myself to eat, perhaps, a bit too much this past easter weekend...
Let's keep on track. Today I start week 4 of P90X with hubby and his friend.
We are doing Yoga X... how's that for a come-back Monday!

Mondays are good for me too! I'm at 155.2 today. Although on Friday I was 154.. i did a little splerging over easter weekend! But i'm on track!

Hello. I just heard about this website today and I am all for a little friendly competition. I am at 262 and would love to get to 175 pounds. I am only 5' 6" and am retiring this year so want to get in shape to golf, hike, swim with my husband. Any motivation will help. I was recently diagnosed as borderline diabetic and do not want to start taking medication. Count me in.0

I'm 154 today so that's a 1.2lb weight loss since last monday. I'm seriously considering weight watchers, has anyone done this before? I'm afraid if it's too much work though I wont stick to it.
I am also going to start working out this week. This will be key for me to keep losing weight. I'm so done with looking at my summer clothes and knowing at this weight I wont fit into them!0 -

@ ddamore: A friend is doing weight watchers and she's lost about 15 lb. She loves it, and it's trying to get me into the program.
I currently doing my own little version of Jenny Craig I some times eat JC food others I cook and try to "portion control".
@ rjb0802 don't be discouraged. P90X is a mostly a strength training workout system, so you are probably building up muscle. Perhaps taking measurements may be a better gage of your progress. Well, see you all Monday @ our next weight in.

On saturday my scale reported 151 but today I weighed in at 154 again so i'm not losing but not gaining. blah..
