3 Day Diet

Has anyone done the 3 day diet by American Heart Association? I know they are short lived diets, but I was still wondering if anyone has had any success on it or if is is just a starvation diet?

    I did it (many years ago) i know I lost, but i can't remember how much. I may be a good jump start, but is is not for long term. I suggest just starting good eating habits you can stick with for life.

    A friend gave it to me because she was going to try it because she is getting married in June. Breakfast 1st day is 1/2 grapefruit, 1 slice of toast, 2 tbls of Peanut butter and Black coffee. Lunch 1st Day 1/2 cup tuna plain, 1 slice of toast, Black coffee. Dinner 1st Day 2 slices of any type of meat 3oz, 1 cup of green beans, 1 cup beets, 1 small apple, 1 cup of vanilla ice cream. Then 2 more days similar to that. Salt and Pepper are the only seasonings and no other substiutues. Water!
