Im just wondering how many calories everyone consumes...

I am sticking pretty well to the 1200-1300 calories (even when it says I can have more).
If I get in 1 hour of cario it tells me I can have 1600-1700 calories.
I exercise at night but I plan my exercise and meals the night before so I know what to stick to for food.
If I don't make a plan the night before, I go over my daily allowance or don't put in enough cardio.
I am 5'2" and weigh 165... that is down 5 lbs from my start weight of 170.
My doc told me I needed to get down to 110lbs

hi, I weigh 156lbs, am 5'6" tall, eat about 1350 calories plus exercise calories, and I have lost 53 lbs so far :flowerforyou:0

i usually eat 1350 cals
i have lost 34 pounds so far by doing this
i also eat my exercise calories on the days i exercise :drinker:0 -
I started this site and my program on 9/28/08.
I'm suppose to be eating just about 1400 cals. but I'm lucky If I make it to 1200
I workout 5 to 6 days a week from 30 mins of Cardio and 60 to 70 mins of treadmill
Then do some punch's for about 20 mins 3 days a week,
When I over exercise and I have extra cals to eat, I don't eat those at all, I asked a trainer
at my school gym and he said no you don't eat those at all, then you will not lose weight at all !
Treadmill burning Cal anware from 500 to 600 depends on time
Cardio about 500 to 700 from 25 to 30 min of cardio
Lost of 3 lbs this week (weight check in) this morning !
I'm 5'0 even and I'm 179
Goal is 135
I try and get my meals breakfast and lunch for the week and for dinner, I come home and cook
light and I do not eat after 6pm
I do not drink any soda what so ever, no sweets, I never really like soda,
But I do love parting, drinking my cocktrails, and dinners, on fridays and Sat nites with friends, and dates!
and that's whats been catching up with me !

started 180lb just over a year ago, joined MFP after losing 20lb and have lost another 20 here without really exercising until about a month ago, i stepped it up and now exercise 5 days a week (its addicting )0 -

I drink 100oz of water daily, I eat 1700 calories a day and I exercise by doing jump and jacks, crunches, squats and such 5 days a week...0 -

Man... I dont know what id eat all day if I only had 1200 calories to eat! Its hard not to go over 1700. I am on a budget and eat alot of frozen(high in sodium)foods.0

Work out at the gym 1 hour 3 times per week. Running and then going through the exercise machines.
I joined MFP May 17, 2008 and have lost 22 pounds. It's been a slow road to lose 22 pounds. My body is not real helpful.0 -

I'm 5'8 and I eat 1350-1400 cals a day.
I workout 5 times a week for about an hour each time- strength training on two of those days.
I currently weigh 140. I want to just stay healthy. And lose about 3 lbs so I can have a little wiggle room for my goal of 140. I've lost around 30lbs since May.

I'm currently 200 pounds which is down about 8.5 pounds.
I'm supposed to eat 1470 but bounce around either way. Some days I've overindulged other days I've gotten the warning that I'm not eating enough.
It really depends on what my body tells me. I loath working out so I tend to follow behind my friends who walk up to the 9th floor of our building and I really enjoy getting into Wii Tennis, Boxing, Ski and Step Programs. It's gotta have some entertainment value or I can't do it.
My goal weight is 1450 -

Exercise: 6 days a week, running 2 miles @5 miles per hour, squats after every 400 meter and bicep curls.
Calories Eaten: Between 1430-1490 includes work outs.
I have cut out soda, compeltely and now just drink ONLY water. I am also cutting down my sodium intake, because I love salt mainly sunflower seeds and it makes me swell pretty bad. I don't know what it is but I've already lost 2.5 pounds.0 -

Hi all,
I am 5'7.5"
174lbs, my goal weight is 154lbs by Christmas
I eat on average about 1600 calories a day, this includes 500+ calories from excersice which is about 60 minutes of walking the dogs and 4 hours of housework.
I do not always eat all my allocated daily calories.
I joined this site in Mid October and have lost 5lbs to date ,weigh in is monday morning so should have dropped another 1.4lbs.
I was very sceptical to start the program of counting calories suggested by my daughter-in-law but very happy that I did now.

exercise at least 4 -5 times per week, eat 1350 (my BMR is 1254) without exercise and eat all of my exercise calories. I exercise so I can eat more. Average day around 1700 calories. You aren't alone Purdymommy0 -
i am 5ft 3 and i eat around 2050 calories a day .. i weigh 108 pounds . i workout for an hour a day 5 days a week . i love counting calories and have been doing it for a few years not because it lets me eat whatever i want and i dont have to feel guilty as long as it is in my range0

I'm 5'10 190 lbs and have at least 30 lbs to lose
I've been trying eveything and it seems at if my weight yoyos.
I've joined a gym and have been consistantly going 5 days a week for the past 3 weeks.
I consume about 1600 Cals a day
I strentgh train for about 60 mins a day and do CV exercite for about 20 mins a day.
The scale still hasn't moved, and I am going to measure myself again on the 24th to see if there's a difference.
:explode: Is it normal for the scale to stay the same??? it is sooo dicouraging0 -

you must be really hungry that is not very many calories for what you weigh and what you do, do you eat your exercise calories. You should read these links about eating your exercise calories and other stuff, as well as calculating your BMR calorie level.

Once upon a time I exercised, but I really don't enjoy it unfortunately, someday I will try to get back into it. But anyways 1200 calories a day, within 100 to 200 calories of that on rare occasions. I joined in August and have lost 15 pounds last time I checked. So down from 182 to 167 lbs. Goal is 150.0

Eat: 1600 plus exercise (usually about 300-400 calories in cardio 5x a week)
Joined MFP to loose the last 18 lbs, but have lost 43 lbs doing this between MFP and weight watchers since last December.
