re-posted this in here cause i think it was in the wrong area:

Okay so i keep hearing all the celebs and crap getting into super dooper shape in like three months or stuff like that because they work out 5 hours a day and have a clean diet....

can someone please explain to me what you can do for five hours a day... i get your body is like a machine but you still need breaks and stuff.....

im sure there is someone out there that actually knows how to get this done...

i have a lot of free time but only have 39 days to achieve my goals...

sooooo anyone got anything useful to get it done???

Please and thank you

Yeah, they have lots of money to go with it. If you have money, well, the things you can do and take are what makes it a super workout. Back in the day you could take HGH and that amplified results like mad and a lot of celebs used that. The only super workout I know of is the 300 workout but even that takes time (Quicker than others but it really is a workout that most people can not do quickly, you'll need a spotter.):

    http://www.menshealth.com/fitness/muscle-building-11
    Pullups - 25 reps
    Deadlifts with 135 lbs - 50 reps
    Pushups - 50 reps
    24-inch box jumps - 50 reps
    Floor wipers - 50 reps
    Single-arm Clean-and-Press with 36 lbs Kettlebell - 50 reps
    Pullups - 25 reps

You can have 24 hours a day but your body can handle so much. A good workout should only last you a maximum of an hour. You workout past that point and you do nothing but hurt your body.

The rest of it comes from diet and lifestyle.

I'm curious to see the replies you get! I'm in the same boat... willing & able to put in several hours a day at the gym, and wondering if it's worth it! :flowerforyou:

After one spin class, I passed my trainer and said I was going to hit the weights and work on my legs some more. He said why? He said I had burned up all the glycogen in my muscles during spin and any more work out would be a waste of time. He told me to go home and rest.
I heard on the biggest loser they work out 2 1/2 hrs per day. It looks like 8 hrs on TV, but your body can only do so much and needs time to repair.
I believe you can spend more time on airobic workouts, but you only burn fat if you keep your heart rate under a certain level. I'm not an expert though.

well i used to split my workouts before my wrist surgery and did weights in the morning and cardio at night so then i could break up to 1 hour and 45 min throughout the day...

i dunno if i believe the glycogen bs as long as your refueling.... people go for 8 hour hikes..,. i mean come on...

i also did a 200 mile bike ride (seattle to portland) and i survived.. i was uncapable of moving for a few days after but my legs looked great lol

If you're worried about Glycogen...do your WEIGHTS strength workout first and then your cardio after so you're burning pure fat (instead of burning your muscle mass).

    It's a tip I do :)

i heard that works if your doing an hour of working out total.. but anything past an hour your muscles start getting eaten up

twice a day isnt to bad i just need to get back into it lol.. i was just curious if sitting on the treadmill for 3 hours is worth the waste of time or if there is any other weights and stuff to do ? :\
