What do you eat for breakfast and how many calories do you try and stick to for your first meal of the day?

  • If I need to get my workout in early, I have my Shakeology first thing, wait 1/2 hour or so & get to it. Otherwise, I have a banana, almonds & a Whey protien shake. Usually around 400 cals.

    Usually healthy cereal with 1% milk (or yogurt) and 1/2 banana. Weekends-what ever strikes my fancy eggs at least one of those days and I almost always have the 1/2 banana. Except for splurge day, 300 cals or less.

    Premier Protein Shake, 160 cals, 30 gr protein.

    I have cereal on the days I have time to have breakfast, and never go over 300 cals.
  • I eat a large breakfast around 400- 500 calories then light the rest of the day. I love oatmeal with peanut butter or egg whites with lot's of vegetables and turkey sausage.
  • I usually eat 1/2 cup daisy cottage cheese (90 cals) or friendship cottage cheese no salt added + 1/4 cup olfashioned oatmeal (75 cals) + few strawberries. And coffee with 1/4 cup of skim milk (14 cals).

    Total 200 cals
