jennifer and amy i am so very sorry for your loses. take time to grief, but, also take care of yourself.
lindsey the mini's are a do one thing for the week. a list will be made by the end of this week so we know what we are doing the beginning of next week. it's fun.
AFM: well i have already been to the gym and did my C25K for week 5 day 2. tomorrow is the run for 20 mins. i am sure i can do it. today felt good.
getting AT&T installed this morning. so i am showered and ready for my day. i need to go watch a show i taped last night before i lose it, and have to re-tape it.

didn't get my AT&T. someone transposed the phone numbers and had the wrong address. i spent 30 min on the phone with them about it. a manager is suppose to call me back about it, to set up another appointment. if i don't hear from them by close today (7) i will be calling again in the morning. i went off on the lady.

AFM: I put on a new outfit today and felt CUTE!!!! My hubby wanted to talk about his muscles and I told hime today wasn't about him, it was about me, cause I looked cute today:) I was in such a great mood. I think because of that, I didn't really pay attention to my diet at dinner and ended up over eating, and now I feel sick from it. But, at least I had looked CUTE!!! LOL!! Lovin it.

Okay, so I'm stressing out and figured this is probably the best place to vent as maybe one or more of you might understand how I'm feeling. I have a doctor's appointment today. I have had it set up for 2 months now. The only problem is, I have gained 7 lb since my last visit. Granted, I'm still in the "healthy" range, but the whole idea of stepping on the scale is really depressing me and stressing me out. Or better yet, I should say that I am allowing it to stress me out. I realized, in talking with my best friend who has the same issues, that I have a self-destructive eating disorder of binge eating secretly. But I don't know how to talk to my doctor about it as he thinks my weight is fine, so it not an obvious issue. I will just start eating knowing full well it's wrong, but wont' stop. I did it last night. I did great for 2.5 days. Then last night, the thought of this appointment started eating at me. And because I didn't know how to talk about it with my husband, I just started eating cookies, chicken nuggets, milkshake. Of course, I knew I would feel disgusting this morning, but I did it anyway. This is ridiculous. Oh well. Thanks for listening.0

lula....write a letter to the food you want to eat. maybe that will help some when there is no one to talk to. i have an addiction to food. so i know where you are coming from. i gained 15#s when i have to see the endro 6 months ago. she said i had to lose it before the next 3 month visit. i went in last month with it still attached to my body. she said to just keep plugging away at it. so i do.
keep your chin up. you will do great. maybe you are at where your body likes to be.

Wow....feel like I've been gone FOREVER! Back at work today and feeling somewhat better. Turned out that Kadence got something viral, an eye infection and an ear infection and I got strep throat and am now fighting something viral as well...we are a fun bunch!

A little about me...my name is Kristin. I have been on MFP since November 2007 and was one of the "original" Sixers when the group first started...gosh Cathy...how many years ago? I am a working mom, have a BEAUTIFUL daughter Kadence who will be 2 in September. She is my whole world! Married to my best friend from highschool, Michael. Dieted my whole life, became a gym rat after starting here until a found out I was pregnant and felt sick the ENTIRE time. Now...workout from home, LOVE running with Kadence in the jogging stroller, and trying to just keep my life balanced (work.exercise.family.and a little time for myself). LOVE this group of gals! They keep me motivated! So...that's just a bit about me!
I haven't really gotten caught up with all the posts on here. Super busy at work since I've been gone the past three days. But I am happy to report that I got in some exercise finally again yesterday and plan to get in a little more today. SO...

Lorna - I feel for you! I think I have the same thing! It is definitely stressful for me as well, but I don't think it's because I can't talk to someone about how I feel. That's actually one thing I'm pretty good at! But I will eat and eat and eat, not know when I'm full, eat more and be so disgusted with myself. I don't get it! Sometimes even after lunch, I have to REMIND myself that I'm full. Like, I have to let myself FEEL it. It's so weird. If you do end up talking to your Dr about it, you'll have to let me know what you find out.
Kristin - What kind of job do you have that you can go on this website at work? I'm so jealous - sometimes I use my phone just to log at lunchtime, but it really sucks comparted to using an actual computer!

AFM: I've been on the site for a little over a year. I lost 40 lbs (YAY) and have a mere 15 to go. And of course it's the hardest! I found this great group of ladies something like 6 months ago. I am married and have a sweet 19 mo old little boy. He is such a sweet low maintenance guy I can't wait to have another one! My goals this year are to walk 3 half marathons (1 done so far) and 1 full marathon (6 weeks away!) I also want to get my weight down so we can start trying for that next member of our family later in the year. I also met another one of my goals earlier in the year by doing the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics. It was something on my bucket list that I'm proud to have crossed off (but will NEVER do again - so cold!!). So I guess 2011 is my year for "accomplishing goals". Just got back from our first family vacation (see? another goal!) where we went to VA to visit a HS friend of mine. I really feel for everyone in that area who is experiencing the awful weather, and am thinking and praying for anyone suffering from a loss because of it.
Guess that's all for now! I'm off to go to dinner at Chili's from some mother's from my church. They have arranged a get-together once a month for mothers with young children, and this is my first time going. I've already looked at the menu (holy smokes!!!) and have decided on a Caesar Salad (dressing on side!) and a bowl of Chicken Enchilada soup (my treat for behaving and not getting a 2200 calorie burger!) have a great night!0 -
meeting was a waste of time. didn't want to her the crap. left in my own little world with tears running down my cheeks. i have been in such an emotional state yesterday and today. it was just too much for me.
well, tomorrow i run for 20 mins of the week 5 day 3 C25K. i will doing watching the wedding on tv, or the after wedding stuff. i think i might forgo the ipod. sometimes listening to the tv makes time goes faster. i can do this.

geezers we haven't even finished week 1 and seems everyone has disappeared for the last couple days. hope you are all doing well?
well, i did my C25K week 5 day 3. it was a 20 mins run. i DID it. **pats self of back**. the asthma sorta kicked in. I had take my inhaler before just in case. but, it's sorta out of date. need to get a refill. watching the wedding really helped pass the time. with a song you know when it ends that was only 3-4 mins. but, when i finished and was cooling down my hip started hurting bad. the bursitis was kicking in. i will get my lawns mowed today. than coming in and shower and resting for the day. i may go to the store, don't know yet.
well off to finish my coffee and hit the yard work.

I've had this decreased desire to eat lately. Like I might be hungry... or maybe not, but either way I can not muster up the strength or motivation to go make something to eat. :-/ I had been losing weight from exercising every day... and am actually headed for a run in a little while, then I will clean up my apartment and start packing for my move In a month!!! :-D
Oh, and to clarify i AM eating... but it's more like I'm making myself eat instead of being hungry and eating. :-/ Oh well, I'll enjoy it while I have it... cause sometimes I've been the exact opposite where I'm eating and not even hungry.
Spent most of the day shopping for a wedding tomorrow. Got a cute dress. No complaints!0
