Is there a c25k program for walking?

I just learned about the c25k program and because of my bad knees I can't run but I would like to be able to walk a 5k in the Spring. I've never done one before and think it would be a good goal for me. At this point I can probably walk 10-12 blocks at a time which is a big improvement in the past 4 months. I did a google search but didn't find anything in a quick search so I thought I would ask my MFP friends for thoughts????
Thanks!!!
Thanks!!!

Runner's World magazine recommends increasing your distance by 10% each week when training while running. Perhaps the same advice would hold true for walking?0

Since C25k is based on intervals of walking and running, I'm not sure how a walking version of C25k would work. Like newhealthyskin said, perhaps increase your distance each week? Or do intervals of slower walking/faster walking instead?0
