Pre-Workout Supplement Preference

What is your preferred choice for a pre-workout supplement? I have tried Cardio Cuts and Creatine from GNC, but someone at my gym has also recommended C4. I'm interested in what you use.

People respond differently to various stimulants, so YMMV.
Personally:
C4: no effect
NO Xplode: slight buzz
Hyper: just shy of jittery (my favorite for lifting)
5hr energy extra strength: jittery when taken on an empty stomach (my favorite for endurance cardio)0 -
caffeine0

Monster + sour patches
Cannibal Ferox packs a decent punch0 -
ECA + Latte
I'm thinking of adding C4. While working out I'll toss some Nuun in the water as I'm a bit sensitive to electro imbalance.
I'll add, I just got a 25% off and free shipping code from Cellucor.com.

When I want a stim based pre I'd usually go with Defcon1 from Platinum Labs.
My preferred overall complete muscle building formulas are PreJym by Jim Stoppani, Clash from MTS Nutrition or PreOg from POG.
C4 is ok. I'd say they have the best overall selection of flavors. It hit me hard at first and I loved it. However, with more and more use, the effect did less for me. Have to use like 3 scoops to feel anything or get a pump.
Least favorite is Musclepharms Assault.0 -
How has cycling the C4 worked?0

C4 worked well for me, but as stated above the effects tailored off after a while.
Platinum pre by optimum nutrition is also one of my favourites. Amino energy, also by ON is my preffered pre-workout supp at the moment, due to the fact its effects last for my whole workout and it doesn't make my heart want to explode due to too much caffeine intake.0 -
So I tried Amino energy, 3 scoops in 20oz. Zero effect over my nuun water. I was kinda surprised. I went through the whole container but won't be getting another, even though it is on sale at Costco.0

CJC 1295 and Ostarine..... kidding of course.
The only thing I really use pre-workout is caffeine. Haven't seen much difference with any of the pre-workout supplements. I've only tried a couple though.0 -
I was gonna say, I like how you roll. lol.0

3 of my 4 workouts are in the morning and time is essential so I just have instant Nescafe Dark which is an adequate delivery system for caffeine. Cheap, does the job,0

I love the Platinum pre and use it on days I know my workout will be intense. I use the Amino energy on other days. I got some samples of BSN No Explode at the Olympia but I didn't like the fact that the directions said don't shake it as I usually mix my pre with creatine and glutamine. I think a lot of taking something pre is mental for me anyways.

C4 works pretty good for me. I developed an irregular heartbeat after attempting to take a Super HD and a preworkout called Stimul8 (back in February)... My cardiologist would love to see me use something without caffeine, but since I am doing ok...he's come around. Although I have used No-Explode... it wasn't my fav... it does work; but it made my ears itch...that was just interesting.
I would suggest Stimul8 for someone that was healthy and not using any other stimulant. Because it really did work!! I used it without the fat burner and wow... I felt like I could throw a grown man across the room....
Best of luck!0 -
any of your adding these to an eca stack?0
