loosing inches

I am loosing inches but not weight for 1 month. According to the BMI calculator I am still not where I should be. How do I justify that? Maybe I am not eating enough or working out too much. Help??? Advice anyone?

If you are working hard on exercising, you may just need to optimize your nutritional goals. What are your calorie and macro goals? How are you exercising?

Also, if you are losing inches, you're doing it right. Reduction of inches is great progress!

Losing inches is sooo much better than losing pounds. Trust me, this is a good thing. It's definite progress so don't kick yourself. Just keep doing what you're doing and the pounds will follow too. The scale is not the only measure of success.

Indeed, it's always a troubling trend how many people are concerned with the number on the scale vs how their clothes fit. Your go-to tools are body fat calipers, measuring tapes or even how your old clothes fit. Scales... Right in the garbage!

only you see the scale the world sees inches that says it all to me. I was told I need to be 9st 6lbs to look my best im 10st 2lbs yet smaller than some of my 9st friends we all have different body shapes etc so go for inches over lbs

Great job! I would rather be losing inches, than pounds any day.

Agree. Inches trumps scales. I try on old, skinny clothes when I'm stalling to check. The other day I could fit into old gym tights from 3 years ago....This time without "cameltoe".

    Keep going like you do!
