Struggling

Not loosing any weight lately regardless of how much I work out OR how little I eat. If anything, I'm gaining if I dare to eat anything that is not fruits or veggies. Feel free to look at my diary and make suggestions. Frustrated.

EDIT: I'm not as concerned about NOT loosing weight, rather than the fact that if I did eat 3 normal meals, my body weight starts gaining at an alarming rate (1lb/day). And THAT is not normal.

    Your diary isn't open.

You're a 5'9" male weighing 145lbs, with a goal weight of 130lbs, and not eating?

It sounds very disordered to me. Please see your Dr. and ask about the dangers of such restrictive eating patterns and unhealthy goals.

You're already at a healthy weight. Maybe you don't have any fat left to lose. The scale does not always tell the whole story.

It's not possible to gain one pound of fat per day, unless you're eating 3,500 extra calories per day. That weight gain is likely water fluctuation. Everyone has that, it's normal.

My armchair diagnosis is that you're obsessing over the scale and have a poor relationship with food and your body.

I've looked at a few days of your diary and you're eating very little solid food by the looks of it. When you have REAL meals, that food has a weight to it, and while it's travelling through your GI system it's going to add scale weight. It's NOT fat. It would stabilize if you were to continue eating real meals.

Food is fuel for the body. Please fuel your body appropriately or seek help to be able to do so in a healthy manner.

ahhhm you may want to re-post this in another section like 'General Diet & Weight Loss Help' to attract more replies.

This is the 'Maintaining' section where goals has already been obtained and it's about maintaining current weight.

    Best of luck to you!

    This.

You need to eat. Your body requires nutrition in order to properly function. Don't look at the scale for a few weeks and just focus on healthy eating.

Once I changed to having good solid wholesome foods, even if my fishfingers and stuff are processed, i've found the weight started coming off much better. but I am not exercising and still eating more, so maybe look at your food choices and don't obsess over the scale.
