Pancake Lover right here!0

1 scoop protein
1 protein scoop of oats
1/8 cup water depending on how thick you want your batter
1 egg
1 tsp olive oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
Will make again but omit the vanilla since the Twinlab Vanilla Rush protein powder I use is quite heavy on vanilla flavor, and refrigerate half to enjoy the next morning.
Thanks for the recipe.
ENJOY!

I have made these using 2 large eggs, 3 oz. cream cheese, pinch of your choice of sweetener (optional)..blend in processor or blender until bubbly. These are thin like crepes and tender, so careful when turning. Really delicious!0

I fiddled with a recipe this morning so I thought I would share it. Definitely a denser pancake but much healthier. I am still messing around with the recipe (maybe I will add more flaxseed and less pancake mix (I will be subbing the Bisquick mix for white whole wheat and up the baking powder and a little salt next time - I just had a box of the stuff laying around so I wanted to use it up). Let me know if you can think of any improvements
APPLE PROTEIN PANCAKES
YIELD 12 Pancakes
INGREDIENTS
2 Medium Gala Apple diced small
1 1/2 cup Heart Smart Bisquick Mix
1/2 cup Old Fashioned Oatmeal
1/4 cup Whole Ground Flaxseed Meal
1/2 tsp baking powder
4 scoops Organic Bourbon Vanilla Whey Protein
5 oz. Fage Greek Yogurt 2%
1 cup 2% Milk
1 Large Egg
1/2 tsp Apple Pie Spice
INSTRUCTIONS
Food process the old fashioned oats until flour-like - it is fine if there are small chunks of oats left.
Mix the oats, flaxseed, baking powder and bisquick mix together.
Add in egg, yogurt, milk, apple pie spice and mix together well.
Add in the diced apple to the mixture.
Spray cooking surface with a light coating of olive oil (I use an oil mister)
Cook on stovetop on medium until done.
