I have had saline implants since 1999 and YES absolutely the best money i ever spent. I was a AA and now a DD (34).....my hubby loves them, I love them! (I'm 5'9" so even though that sounds gigantic, it's a real good porportion for me,)

I did it for me, my confidence.

I do have breast cancer that runs in both sides of my family so I amd extra careful about getting mammos too.

Don't listen to those who want to scare you away from it! Do it and have a wonderful time!!

p.s. they are not permanent - change your mind??? take 'em out !)

    Be well and happy!

I am posting here strictly because my MFP friends expect it.

    That's right we do!

I'm good with them...but I'd say no one's opinions here should matter. The only one that should is your own. If your gonna do it, be sure you're doing it for you!

Here are my only questions, and I don't know the answers:

You're only 21, are you planning on having kids?

What happens to boobs that have been "adjusted" when you gain and lose baby weight? How do they look?

Can you nurse after a boob job?

I don't know the answers to any of these questions, so they may or may not be valid issues to consider.

I plan on going the opposite, I'm an G/H (really, not that pornstarish b/c i'm only a 28/30).
After I decide on the kid question, I'll go on the waiting list to have a reduction. It'll be the best thing I ever did for my neck/back/shoulders. They currenlty hate me and I'm tired of not fiting into bathing suits and only have one store in the city I can find bras in. And they're expensive.
(up north here, the reduction is covered by medical as long as you meet the specifications, which I apparently do!)

I dated a woman that had the procedure done while we were together, and I gotta tell you, from a guy's point of view, it's scary watching your partner bruised and in such pain because the swelling looked like she had been mauled. Even afterward when the swelling went down and it was all said and done, had a hard time knowing they just weren't real (she had a pair of c's that somewhat lessened after her kids were born and wanted back what she had), and she told me she had lost most of the feeling in her nipples. I would tend to agree with the previous poster about waiting until after having kids.....not for the breastfeeding thing, I think that's a bit out there......but for all you know they might grow naturally through pregnancy (dated another who was that case). Anyhow, best wishes on whatever you do

I'm think of getting RID of mine. They are SOOO heavy!! I can literally feel them pulling down on my neck/back/shoulders. Even when I'm laying down, which seems to give me the most relief. or if I just stick my arm underneath and let them rest..haha.

This was my feeling. I was spilling out of DD's but now they have shrunk up quite a bit. They were so uncomfortable and I do not miss them at all.

Have to say, I'd rather have teeny tiny little bitty titties before I'd want to lose feeling in my nipples... hellllll no. Love that too much

But I agree, do it for yourself... if YOU want them, then get them. Don't worry about what others say. Weigh your risks and make an educated decision =)

I'd say breast implants in women are similar to hair transplants in men.
If someone needs boobs or hair to make them feel confident, then they should do it.

On a dive boat you see all shapes and sizes, and you see guys reactions to ladies that have had boob jobs. Most boob jobs are obvious, but it is clear ladies that have had them done have great confidence and figures to match. Boobs are a very big part of a girls feminine identity, so I think if you are not happy with what mother nature has give you, then why not size up. Life is too short. As for me, fortunately it is something I have never had to consider. You can't miss mine on the dive boat...

Sorry guuys - no pictures. And thanks for being guys about this..too funny

I would wait till after children. But it is honestly your choice.
You do know you have to get them replaced every ten years or so (at least the saline ones).

I am sure you will make a great decision for you.
    I'm not a fan, but it's a personal decision!
    Good luck!

AGREE! I do believe it interferes with milk production, it's something to research!

being a 32GG and that is AFTER I lost weight, I have the opposite issue. my Husband is a natural is best kind of guy and says he likes the look and feel of real breast tissue best, but to be honest I would maybe think differently if I had not always been such a booby lady, I would only say that the loss of feeling in my nipples would be a real concern and also the fact that having breast fed my babies I would have to make sure that my breasts still did what they are actually for too. but if you feel it will add something to you and you can afford it, then go for it.

You're gorgeous just the way you are. I'd say don't change a thing. I'm a big fan of natural beauty and you have it. : )

What he said.....your a beautiful young woman from what we can see and usually that is a big confidence boost in itself. However, the only thing I would add is, if your going to do it, do what is right for YOU and YOU ONLY. Dont do it for anyone else, one way or the other. You have to be happy with yourself and if this is something you feel you need to do to gain confidence, then go for it!

    Good luck to you! :-)

If you can, I would wait until after you have kids. Not only will pregnancy change your breast size, it will change their shape (often to the ping pong ball in tube socks look). So you might need a lift as well as augmentation.

Btw, yes, I've had mine done (after kids) and my husband LOVES them. Silicone, very natural feeling, just bigger and MUCH perkier. I had to have a lift too.

If I had the money I would get them in a heart beat! I'm barley an A and I'm 5'10"! I 'm just a tad out of whack with my proportions.
But - I do agree that you might want to wait until after kids (if you plan on having them) - but that is totally up to you!
