I am facing surgery to file down my AC joint and a bone spur in my shoulder. It's impinging my bicep tendon and MRI shows no tear but striations in the tendon.
Has anyone had these problems with osteolystis (sp?)

Sorry to hear about your upcoming surgery, and I wish you a speedy recovery. I have had a shoulder injury that I was able to work through myself that nearly took me a year. Had an AC joint separation 30 years ago and it came back to haunt me about 5 years ago. Did a lot of light shoulder exercises and after about a year it is good as new. Master of fact I play frisbee golf and 350 feet throws are now the norm for me. Wish you well, and if you ever need a friend I'm always here. Glad to see someone on here fit like you are. I'm in the same boat as you and that is Just Do It.0

Shoulder surgery on 10/10 ...... much worse than anticipated. MRi missed ALOT
I had a traumatic rotator cuff repair and they had to sew my bicep tendon to the bone. Also had cysts on AC joint and clavicle. 4 week recovery is now 4 months0
